I’m in Malawi, enjoying the serene seas of maize, which seems to be planted on every available inch of soil—rural or urban. I’m visiting Baobab Health in Lilongwe, which has pioneered electronic medical records in a cash- and doctor-strapped environment.  I have to save the rest for the book, but it’s one of my favorite stories out of Africa so far.
